Restricting Access to Arithon by IP address

Master users can specify that their users can only access Arithon from a certain IP address. If access is to be restricted to company offices, then the company must have a fixed IP address. Please contact your ISP and/or your IT department for help regarding your IP address. 

Log in to Arithon. When you are presented with the page that says "Click here to access Arithon" there is a link to the left "Manage Users" in the My Account section. Click on this link. You will then be presented with a list of all the active users of your Arithon system. They will each have a link "edit" beside their name and a description of the type of user they are (Normal / Administrator). Click on the "edit" beside the user who's details you wish to edit. 

Applying IP Restrictions:
  • To enable IP restrictions "Restrict access to IP address?" must be set to "Yes".
  • The text box will then become active and you will be able to enter the allowed IP address.
  • If there is more than one allowable IP, then type each IP address on its own line.
Disable IP restrictions:
  • To disable IP restrictions "Restrict access to IP address?" should be set to "No"
